“The Haunted Palace” read by Christopher Lee

This is a recording of actor Christopher Lee reading “The Haunted Palace” by Edgar Allan Poe. It was extracted from an audiotape set entitled “Tales of Horror: Christopher Lee Reads Edgar Allan Poe” released by Listen for Pleasure. The audio quality isn’t perfect, but I was able to get it to sound pretty good by applying some noise reduction in Audacity. Please check out my cinematic depiction of the Spirits of the Dead written by Edgar Allan Poe. I recently shot this short film about a man walking into a church and reading this macabre poem. Just click on my name and it will bring you right to it.
